Palakkad: Actor Devan voiced his support for the NDA candidate in Thrissur, Suresh Gopi, stating that the LDF and UDF supporters are deliberately stirring controversy against Suresh Gopi. He also expressed his confidence in Suresh Gopi’s victory in Thrissur.
Describing Suresh Gopi as a kind-hearted individual, Devan mentioned that his emotional responses stem from his genuine nature. Devan, who is also the BJP state vice president of Kerala, emphasised that Padmaja Venugopal’s presence would strengthen Suresh Gopi’s chances of winning in Thrissur.
In a statement to the media, Padmaja Venugopal affirmed Suresh Gopi’s victory in Thrissur and said that the Congress itself would defeat K Muraleedharan in the constituency. Padmaja, making her first appearance in Thrissur after joining the BJP, was warmly welcomed by party activists at both the Murali Mandir and the BJP’s Thrissur district office.
