Thiruvananthapuram: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate three train services for Kerala today. The inauguration ceremony will introduce the extended Mangaluru Central-Thiruvananthapuram Central-Mangaluru Central Vande Bharat Express (20631/20632), the newly announced Mysuru-Dr MGR Chennai Central-Mysuru Vande Bharat Express (20663/20664), and the Tirupati-Kollam (BW) Express (17421/17422). The inauguration will be conducted through video conference.
The Trivandrum Central-Mangaluru Central Express will start regular service on March 13. Initially, the service will operate daily until July 4. Then, it will be available six days a week, excluding Wednesdays. The Tirupati-Kollam-Tirupati Express will run twice a week, with services from Kollam to Tirupati on Wednesdays and Saturdays and from Tirupati to Kollam on Tuesdays and Fridays.
