Mumbai : The Bombay High Court on Monday ordered that blood samples be sent for DNA test in the case of Binoy Kodiyeri’s sexual assault. The court said that the DNA test should be carried out tomorrow under sexual assault complaint. The Bombay High Court has directed that the examination results be submitted within two weeks.
The court order states that the examination results should be sealed and handed over to the court registrar.
The woman from Bihar complained that Binoy Kodiyeri sexually assaulted her by promising marriage. However, Binoy claims that the woman’s allegation of assault has no evidence and the case was fabricated.
Binoy Kodiyeri was granted bail on the condition that he appear before the investigating officer every Monday for a month and cooperate with the proceedings. The court also ordered the DNA test to be carried out if requested by the police. But during his last two appearances, Binoy refused to give blood. At first, blood samples were not cited for health reasons. Binoy said for the second time that blood samples cannot be given because the case is under consideration by the High Court.
For Binoy’s arguments she had nothing to do with him, the woman gave a heavy blow when she released pictures of her child’s birthday party that was celebrated in 2013. The woman shared three pictures of herself with Binoy cutting cake with the child.
