Thiruvananthapuram: Thiruvananthapuram NDA candidate and Union Minister, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, enumerated the developments in the field of digital technology by the Narendra Modi government. Citing the increased usage of digital financial transactions, Rajeev Chandrasekhar highlighted that street vendors are the ‘hallmark of Digital India’.

After visiting the Pazhavangadi Sree Maha Ganapathy Temple in Thiruvananthapuram, Rajeev Chandrasekhar made the statement upon observing small coconut sellers using the Unified Payment Interface (UPI) – Google Pay facility on the temple premises.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar’s election campaign is now attracting public attention. He introduced himself as the candidate representing the government that implemented UPI services in the country.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar noted that those who once mocked the cashless economy are now accepting UPI facilities.

Rajeev Chandrasekhar is the BJP candidate from the Thiruvananthapuram constituency in this Lok Sabha election. He currently serves as the Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, and Electronics and Information Technology of India.
