Islamabad: Former Pakistani Prime Minister, Nawaz Sharif is critically unwell, according to his personal physician. Sharif is out on bail on a corruption case. He is receiving treatment for an undiagnosed blood platelet disorder.
Sharif’s family doctor, Adnan Khan said, “Former PM Nawaz Sharif, critically unwell, is fighting the battle for his life.”
The doctor also warned that Nawaz Sharif might die soon as he is in an alarming condition. The doctor was speaking to at the court hearing when he made these comments.
The court ordered two surety bonds of Rs. 20 lakh to secure the leader’s release. The doctors informed that Nawaz Sharif has been administered 80 injections to bring his platelet count to normal. They also said that Sharif had a heart attack during the treatment.
Sharif’s lawyer said that he was dissatisfied with the medical care given to the former Prime Minister.
