Baghdad: Three Katyusha rockets fell in Baghdad on Sunday, including two inside the capital’s heavily fortified Green Zone housing government buildings and foreign missions, the Iraqi military said.
Six people have been injured in the attack. Sirens were being sounded and there were no immediate reports of casualties, the sources said.
Earlier, multiple rockets were launched in Baghdad’s Al-Jadriya area and outside Balad Airbase, informed Iraqi Army official.
The attack comes two days after General Qassem Soleimani was killed in a US drone strike in Baghdad.
