Tehran: Iran on Saturday admitted that it “unintentionally” shot down the Ukrainian International Airlines. The plane had crashed near Tehran killing all 176 people on board, earlier this week.
Foreign Minister of Iran tweeted, ” A sad day. Preliminary conclusions of internal investigation by Armed Forces: Human error at time of crisis caused by US adventurism led to disaster.Our profound regrets, apologies and condolences to our people, to the families of all victims, and to other affected nations.”

The people killed in the crash include from nations Iran, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Canada, Germany, Sweden and the United Kingdom.
