Sindh: Sindh province has been turning to a hub of conversion where in another case, a 24-year old Hindu girl named Bharati Bai was kidnapped by assailants with the backing and supervision of local police authorities.
She was abducted from her wedding venue in Hala.
According to reports, Bharti Bai, was then forcefully converted to Islam and married to a Muslim man named Shah Rukh Gul.
Bharti’s parents are demanding to return, while on the other hand it is being claimed that Bharti had converted to Islam at least one month prior to the incident. Her parents allegedly found out about her conversion and were getting her forcibly married.
Her documents regarding to conversion to Islam and marriage had went viral on social media on December 1, 2019.
Jamiat-ul-Uloom Islamia issued the certificate that mentions her new name as Bushra and the conversion was witnessed and certified by Mufti AbuBakar Saeed ur Rehman.
These kind of forcible acts are now a common thing in Pakistan, where many such Hindu girls get trapped.
