Kabul: In a series of interviews given to an international media house, the widows of the ISIS terrorists from Kerala says that they still long for a life where the Islamic Sharia law rules. The widows explain how they joined the ISIS and the life with the most brutal terror outfit which created a Caliphate in Iraq and Syria.

The widows who gave an interview to a media house were Rafeela, Nimisha aka Fathima and Soniya Sebastian aka Aiyesha.

They said that they were attracted to the Islamic State which promised a Caliphate where the Islamic rule is the norm. These widows still prefer a life under a Sharia law as per their testimonies.

The widows said that till their husbands were killed there was not much problem. The difficulties arose once they lost their husbands.

When asked about the ISIS terrorists’ killings of women and children, Nimisha aka Fathima, who hails from Thiruvananthapuram, told the interviewer that she had seen mass graves of women and children killed in airstrikes by Western countries.

Only Sonyia Sebastian aka Aiyesha said that she regretted joining the ISIS and said that it was nothing she had expected. She also told the interviewer that her husband had grown disillusioned with the Caliphate and wanted to end his life.

She also described that most people did not come to the Mosques to pray and that the Caliphate was not the Islamic country she had imagined.

However, the other two widows did not show any repentance of joining the ISIS or being part of the brutality that was unleashed by the Islamic terror outfit.
