Rio De Jenario [Brazil]: Five including football players declared dead in an air crash at Brazil. The dead include the President of Palmas FC and domestic footballers who were on their way to play Vila Nova.
The plane carrying the four players and the President of the Palmas FC crashed at Tocantis after the plane suddenly plunged to the ground at the end of the runway while on takeoff. The players were travelling separately from the main squad as they had tested positive for the corona virus.
