G-7 Summit: PM meets various world leaders

Munich: As part of Narendra Modi’s two day Germany visit to attend the G-7 summit, he is on meeting with several world leaders today. The PM, who reached Germany last day, was welcomed by German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. Modi received a warm welcome while addressing the Indians in Germany.

The PM will attend a plenary session as part of the summit. He will talk on the importance of protecting climate, energy and health without failure for the betterment of the world.

He will also conduct discussions with South African president Cyril Ramaphosa, German Chancellor Olaf Scholes, Indonesian President Joko Widodo and EU commission President Ursula Von der Leyen.

At G7 venue, PM Modi has shared a healthy conversation with US President Joe Biden and Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.

PM Modi and French President Emmanuel Macron talked after a group photo session of the leaders.

After the summit he will visit UAE tomorrow and attend a function and will pay tribute to the former president of UAE and Abu Dhabi ruler Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed al Nahyan. The PM will also congratulate the new ruler, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
