New York: 5 dead and 16 injured in a massive shooting against the Independence Day parade conducted at Illinois. The police arrested a 22 year old suspect Robert E Bobby Cremo, who went missing after the incident and captured after a serious encounter.
The incident took place at 10:30 last morning in Highland Park, 25 miles away from the Chicago city. Hundreds of people gathered here to participate in the parade that held as part of the Independence Day celebrations.
As per reports, the suspect started shooting around 10 minutes after the parade had begun. The witnesses heard gunshots at least 20 times. Footage of people running in panic was also out there. The primary report says that the culprit fired to the parade from the top of a nearby building.
It is informed that this shocking incident forced the authorities to stop Independence Day celebrations that have been arranged in other areas of the country.
