Saudi: Saudi Arabia welcomed the announcement of Joe Biden that US had killed Ayman al-Zawahiri, the leader of the terrorist organization Al-Qaeda.
In a statement released by the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs it is mentioned that Zawahiri was a person who planned and carried out terrorist activities in Saudi Arabia, America and various other parts of the world. Apart from Saudi citizens, thousands of innocent people were killed in his terrorist attacks.
They also said that all countries should cooperate to eradicate terrorism.
Meanwhile, the Taliban has condemned the attack. Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid accused that the US has violated the international law.
In 2020, there were reports that Zawahiri had been killed, but an hour-long video of Zawahiri was released on the anniversary of the September 11 terrorist attacks in 2021.
