Birmingham: Two Pakistani boxers Suleiman Baloch and Naseerullah were reported missing in Birmingham after the Commonwealth Games 2022. Pakistan Boxing Federation (PBF) president Naseer Tang has confirmed the news.
The Boxing Federation reported the missing information just hours before the team’s return to Pakistan from Birmingham. All their documents, including the passport, are with the officials of PBF.
The PBF secretary Naseer Tang has clarified that they reported the missing information to both the Pakistan High Commission in the UK and other officials in London.
Meanwhile, Pakistan Olympic Association has formed a four member investigation team to conduct a detailed enquiry about the incident.
Pakistan achieved 8 medals including two gold medals in Weightlifting and Javelin Throw. But they could not win any medals in boxing.
