Kabul: Floods continues to be worsen in Afghan’s Parwan province. Death of 31 people and the missing of 100 people were reported. The provincial government also reported that 17 people were injured. The flood is worst in the northern region.
More than twelve houses were washed away and this led to the reason for rise in the death toll. It is estimated that the flood may affect 34 provinces of Afghanistan. 40 people were killed in heavy rains in last July.
People were suffering from heavy rain in various areas for past two months while they are facing an epidemic and economic collapse due to Taliban rule. Voluntary organizations said that the epidemic has worsened due to rains and children are suffering from malnutrition due to lack of food.
