Islamabad: Shelter homes of many flood affected regions in Pakistan are being protected by the terrorist group Lashkar-E-Taiba (LeT) . The LeT has crossed the arrangements set by the Pakistan government. Though the nation requested other countries for their assistance, they had blocked several international NGOs from providing the disaster relief activities. LeT has utilised this chance as an opportunity.
LeT has been participating in the disaster relief activities of regions including Punjab, Baluchistan, Khaibar and Pakhtunkhwa. Reports say that they are reviving the terrorist association in all these regions. Pakistani journalist Thaha Siddhique has reported this. He said that through the rescue operations, the association is trying to strengthen their activities in all those regions and it is being taken place with the support of the army and other associations.
The terrorist activities are being unified under the leadership of Hafiz Thalha Said, son of Hafiz Said, the leader of LeT. Other major terrorists Hafiz Abdur Rahuf and Nadeem Avaan are also actively participating in the rescue activities.
US and United Nations had already banned Lashkar- e- Taiba in background of their terrorist activities. They had conducted terrorist attacks at Lahore in Pakistan and in many regions of India including Mumbai.
The most terrifying association is now trying to influence people by utilising their miseries.
