Kiev: Four regions in the eastern and southern regions of Ukraine will be annexed by Russia today. This region covers 14 percent of the Ukraine region and currently the area is under the control of the Russian army.
The referendum that was started last Friday was completed on Tuesday. Following this, the four regions will become the part of Russia and the authority clarified that the people of Luhansk(98%), Donetsk (99%), Karson (87%), and Zaporizhia (93%) have agreed to become the part of Russia in the referendum. Russia also said that the people have decided to return to their motherland.
In the presence of Vladimir Putin, the favourable leaders of Russia will sign the agreement today. In connection to this, the Russian parliament will pass the draft law next Monday.
Meanwhile, the G7 countries including the US and Germany have come up against Russia’s action.
