Riyad: DC Books introduced Ramayana and Mahabharata in Saudi Arabia through the Riyadh International Book Festival. DC Books Managing Director D C Ravi informed this in a press conference convened at the Riyadh Media Forum. He also said that the English version of Ramayana and Mahabharata has been widely accepted.
He described this as evidence of the change in Saudi Arabia’s vision as part of ‘Vision 2030’. In addition, DC Books has brought 80 percent of the books, classics and new books of prominent writers in Malayalam to the fair. He said that the works of old writers are still widely accepted and the acceptance of audio books is also increasing in the new generation.
The Book Festival, which is being held at the Riyadh Front Convention Center under the leadership of the Saudi Ministry of Culture, will end on October 8.
