New Delhi: Singapore based start-up Secret Potion on Monday said it has launched a mobile app by same name to counter mental illness stigma and present mental wellness as a choice for better health.
The firm said that the app is aimed at creating personalised wellness plans, monitoring daily progress, connecting with others going through similar experiences, and finding the support needed to improve quality of life.
The app is available on both iOS App Store and Google Play store and allows users to build personalised plans based on a simple assessment and track their progress daily to stay aligned with their wellness goals.
Users can also keep a track of their mood every day and pen down their thoughts in the e-diary to understand what triggers their mood change. Apart from that, users can connect with others in the community to form personal networks and chat with friends to find deeper, meaningful support.
“There is a lot of focus today on how to treat mental illness. However, just the therapy, medication, or management does not guarantee an improved quality of life. Instead, wouldn’t it be simpler to focus on efforts to not reach that stage in the first place? And the answer lies in simply making a conscious effort towards your wellness,” said Farha Siddiqui, Founder and CEO of Secret Potion.
