Istanbul: The mastermind of the explosion that killed six people in Istanbul has been captured, informed the Turkish home minister Sulaiman Sailu. Six deaths and 53 injured cases have been reported so far. There are indications that the incident was a suicide attack.

The attack took place around 4 pm on Sunday in a busy street in Istanbul, the financial city of Turkey.

The attack happened in the street, where many people including tourists and locals are travelling. People were walking along the street when the blast occurred. The attack took place in the same location where IS terrorists attacked and killed around 500 people earlier.

Police have beefed up the security in the area. President Tayyip Erdogan said that strict actions will be taken against the culprits.
