Islamabad: Diphtheria, a deadly disease is spreading among the children in Pakistan. The international media reported that around 39 children have died so far across the nation.
The Pakistan Government is in crisis as they are facing the shortage of medicine. Inorder to handle the situation, the Government is seeking help from the other world nations.
As per the request, the World Health Organisation and UNICEF held an emergency meeting to get the anti-diphtheria serum. Diphtheria is a disease that has been eradicated from many nations through vaccination.
It is said that the lack of Pentavalent vaccine actually led to the outbreak of the disease.
