Doha: Senegal has got a remarkable victory over the host Qatar in the World Cup 2022. The African team has won the Group A match held at Al Thumama Stadium with a score of 3-1. Qatar achieved their first goal in the history of the World Cup.
Dia scored Senegal’s first goal in the 41st minute. Senegal took the lead in the 48th minute. In the 78th minute, Mohammad Mundari scored Qatar’s first goal in World Cup history. Bamba Dieng scored Senegal’s third goal in the 84th minute.
Qatar became the first team to be eliminated from the World Cup 2022 after losing for the second time in a row. Qatar also lost to Ecuador in the opening match.
