Srinagar: Mehbooba Mufti, the former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir, has left the official residence. Mufti has vacated the residence in Srinagar. In October, the government had asked them to vacate their residence near Gupkar Road. There are reports that they have shifted to a private residence in Khimber.
Last day, the government issued a notice to Mufti to vacate the government quarters in Khanabal area of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district. But the Mufti has not yet followed this instruction. Apart from the Mufti, the government had also issued notices to three legislators to vacate the government residence. The executive magistrate had sent the notices to the Mufti as per the instructions of the deputy commissioner of the district.
