Canberra: Neel Prakash, the Islamic state terrorist Neel Prakash, who was deported from Turkey, was taken into custody by the Australian police.
Neil, the 31 year old, has been charged with serious crimes such as coordinating terrorist activities at the international level, fund raising for terrorist activities and spreading terrorist propaganda.
Khalid , who entered Turkey from Syria, was arrested in 2016. He was sentenced for seven years imprisonment after confirming his seven years of terrorist connections. Following this, his Austrailian citizenship had also been cancelled.
Khalid was the major one among the 230 people who left Australia to join the Islamic State in Syria and Iraq. His video forcing Australian citizens to join the Islamic State was released earlier.
Earlier there was news that Khalid was killed in an American airstrike in Iraq. However, it became clear later that he was only injured in this attack.
Neel Prakash, who was a Buddhist, converted to Islam in 2012. Later he took the name of Abu Khalid al-Kambodi and left to Syria.
