Tehran: The people of Iran will not bow down to the empty promises of the administration. The agitators are of the position that they cannot withdraw from the protest just by promising to take back the morality police. The protestors clarified that the aim is not to abolish the morality police system, but to change the system entirely.
The people of Iran have declared a strike in the country for three days from today. As part of the strike, the agitators called for the suspension of financial transactions and the participation of those in other sectors through social media.
The Morality Police have nothing to do with the Judiciary. That is why the system is being discontinued. Iran’s Attorney General Mohammad Jafar Montazeri announced that the system will be stopped from where it started. But the agitators are of the view that this cannot be trusted and they also pointed out that they will not step back from the protest until they see specific change in the country.
