Islamabad: A series of blasts held in Baluchistan. Five Pakistani soldiers were killed. More than 10 people were seriously injured. The intelligence operation was going on from December 24.  Condemning the incident, Baluchistan Chief Minister Abdul Qudoos Bisenjo directed the police chief to make security arrangements more efficient in the city.

Hours before the series of blasts in Baluchistan, unidentified assailants had thrown a grenade at a police checkpoint in the satellite town of Quetta. Eight people, including three police officers and five civilians, were injured in the attack. Prior to this incident, four people were injured in a grenade explosion in Quetta.

Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) recently seized control of the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) compound in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Bannu city. After this attacks on police stations are intensifying in Pakistan.

At the same time, the US Department of State has issued a warning to diplomatic representatives in anticipation of the possibility of terrorist attacks in Pakistan. Diplomats are warned not to go to big five-star hotels under any circumstances. The intelligence department has warned that there is a possibility of  terrorist attack when foreign representatives visit hotels.
