Hague: The four day long trial is underway in International Court of Justice on Indian national Kulbhushan Jadhav. India has argued in ICJ to release Kulbhushan Jadhav and to annul death sentence.
The hearing began Monday with India’s side.The court will hear Pakistan’s submissions today and counters from India and Pakistan will be heard on Wednesday and Thursday.
India on the first day argued about the violation of human rights faced by Kulbhushan Jadhav in Pakistan. The hearing began amidst the tension between India and Pakistan following Pulwama terror attack which killed 40 CRPF personnel. India also argued that Pakistan never showed respect to international laws.
