New Delhi: Indian Prime Minsiter, Narendra Modi, is once again the world’s most popular leader with 77% approval rating. He surpasses the US President, Joe Biden, and UK PM, Rishi Sunak. The survey was released by Morning Consult.

A report said that Narendra Modi has approval rating above 71% since the Global Leadership Approval project began in 2019. After 2022, his ratings went beyond 75%.

The survey rated 22 global leaders and Modi topped other world leaders such as French President, Emmanuel Macron, Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese and Canadian Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau.

The survey data reveals that only four world leaders have an approval rating of more than 50% in their countries.

The approval ratings are based on data collected from May 30 to June 6, 2023.

After Narendra Modi, Mexican President, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador secured the second position with 61% approval ratings. The third most popular world leader was Australian Prime Minister, Anthony Albanese with 52% rating.

Morning Consult is an US-based business intelligence company. The company specializes in online survey research technology. It was named as one of the fastest growing technology companies in North America by Deloitte in 2018 and 2019.
