Washington: Pakistan suffers a major blow in international level as United States has slashed the visa duration of Pakistani nationals from five years to three months. Afghanistan’s U S Consulate has handed over a detailed report regarding this to the Pak authorities.
The new policy is applicable for Pak journalists too. Visa application fee has been increased from $160 to $192.
After the Pulwama terror attack, U S had asked Pakistan to stop supporting militants and not to provide safe haven to terrorists in Pak.
“We reiterate our call for Pakistan to abide by its United Nations Security Council commitments to deny terrorists sanctuary and to block their access to funds,” US State Department Deputy Spokesperson Robert Palladino said on Tuesday.
Pakistan is being isolated internationally day by day. This deserving fate comes after the dastardly terror attack at Pulwama in Jammu Kashmir on February 14th. 40 CRPF personnel were martyred in the attack.
