Dharamshala: International media Reuters reports that Dalai Lama has hinted that his reincarnation might come from India after his death.
Dalai Lama while giving an interview to Reuters also said that China takes the reincarnation of Dalai Lama as something very important. He said that the communist nation is more concerned with his reincarnation than with the living Dalai Lama.
He said that after his death, China might prop up a Dalai Lama as his reincarnation to serve its purpose in Tibet. However, he said that no one will accept the Chinese Lama.
The Nobel laureate said, “In future, in case you see two Dalai Lamas come, one from here, in free country, one chosen by Chinese, then nobody will trust, nobody will respect (the one chosen by China). So that’s an additional problem for the Chinese! It’s possible, it can happen.”
The spiritual leader of Tibetan Buddhism had fled to India in 1959 after rising against repressive China failed. Since then he has been the lobbying for international support for linguistic and cultural autonomy for Tibet.
