Tel Aviv: Bharat ‘s condemnation of the Hamas terror attack and expression of support for Israel garnered significant attention on social media. On Saturday, October 7th, Israel expressed its gratitude to Bharat for its solidarity and support.
On its official Twitter account, managed by Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Digital Diplomacy team, Israel stated, “Thank you, India.” They also shared an image highlighting the trend “India is with Israel.”
Israel’s Ambassador to Bharat, Naor Gilon, expressed deep appreciation for Bharat ‘s moral support and expressed confidence in Israel’s ability to overcome the situation. He extended his thanks to Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In an official statement on his Twitter account, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conveyed, “Deeply shocked by the news of terrorist attacks in Israel. Our thoughts and prayers are with the innocent victims and their families. We stand in solidarity with Israel during this difficult hour.”
On Saturday morning, Hamas launched a surprise attack on Israel, firing rockets into southern and central regions. According to the news agency Reuters, the attack resulted in the loss of at least 40 Israeli lives and left over 740 individuals injured.
