Tel Aviv: Two Israeli women security officers of Indian origin lost their lives in a rocket attack by the Palestinian terrorist group Hamas. Official sources, as well as members of the community, confirmed this incident on Sunday.
Lieutenant Or Moses, a 22-year-old Home Front Command officer from Ashdod, and Inspector Kim Dokraker, serving as a Border Police officer in the police’s Central District, were the casualties of the attack that occurred on October 7. Both of them have lost their lives while on duty in combat. As per official reports, a total of 286 army soldiers and 51 police officers have lost their lives during the conflict.
Approximately 1,300 people have been killed in the Hamas attack. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had visited the families and relatives of the hostages the previous day and pacified them. Additionally, the aftermath of the attack has left a substantial number of Israelis injured, with around 3,600 individuals currently receiving medical treatment. Israel’s Defense Minister, Yoav Gallant, has disclosed that a significant number of hostages, estimated to be between 150 and 200, are currently held in Gaza. Israel is actively engaged in ongoing efforts to secure the release of these captives.
