Tel Aviv: The Israeli Defense Forces have announced that they conducted airstrikes on Hezbollah facilities in Lebanon. The operation was launched in response to a prior attack by Hezbollah militants on Israel. The Israeli military escalated its response to combat the threat.
The Israeli mission also included airstrikes on Rosh HaNikra, which is reportedly a Hezbollah stronghold. The Hezbollah attack occurred in border areas while they were apparently defending against attacks by Hamas militants. Hezbollah targeted multiple military posts along the border, launching nine rockets from Lebanon. The Defense Forces also activated sirens in various nearby areas, including Kiryat Shmona.
Two days ago, the Israeli military carried out airstrikes on Hezbollah facilities in Lebanon, following the Hamas attack. The situation has escalated due to Israeli airstrikes in the Gaza Strip.
