Manama: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday launched the USD 4.2 million redevelopment project of the 200-year-old Lord Sri Krishna Temple in Manama. The facelift for the Shreenathji (Shree Krishna) temple will kick off later this year.
The redevelopment project will be done on 16,500 square feet land and the new four-floor structure will be covered by 45,000 square feet with an overall height of 30 meters.
In the first-ever Prime Ministerial visit by India, Narendra Modi arrived in Bahrain on Saturday.
