Kuwait City: The Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, V Muraleedharan, engaged in a meeting with Kuwait’s Interior Minister and Deputy Prime Minister, Sheikh Talal Khaled Al Ahmad Al Sabah. The two dignitaries deliberated on a range of initiatives aimed at enhancing the well-being of the Indian community residing in Kuwait. Expressing his satisfaction, V Muraleedharan conveyed his contentment in meeting the Kuwaiti leader and highlighted Kuwait’s willingness to collaborate for the betterment of the Indian community.
On a two-day visit to Kuwait, the Union Minister participated in a variety of events organised by the Indian community in Kuwait, including a reception and diverse cultural programs. The minister’s journey commenced with a gesture of homage at Mahatma Gandhi’s Smriti Mandapam at the Indian Embassy in Kuwait. Interacting with the Indian community in Kuwait was also a significant aspect of his itinerary.
In addition, V Muraleedharan held fruitful discussions with representatives from the Indian Nurses Federation of Kuwait City, wherein they explored avenues to support Indian nurses employed in Kuwait. Further engagements encompassed meetings with representatives of medical professionals, engineers, and educational leaders, signifying a comprehensive interaction with various segments of the Indian community in Kuwait.
