Dubai: Today, Hindus around the world are celebrating the festival of lights, Diwali. And while the residents of the UAE were sharing their wishes on social media, using the hashtag #HappyDiwali, they received a surprise.
Sheikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, shared a Diwali greeting on his official twitter account in both English and Hindi. He even invited residents to share images of their Diwali celebrations on twitter using the hashtag #UAEDiwali.
