Adleide (Australia): Australia on Friday won in the First Test against India, making the series favorable towards them with a lead of 1-0.
Australia won the match against India by 8 wickets in Day-3 of the match. The 1st Test Match also witnessed India registering its lowest score ever in the Test Cricket history.
Kohli-led Indian team had bundled Aussies out in the 1st innings on 191. India had a lead of 62 runs at the starting of Day-3 but Aussies bowlers thrashed the visitors from a position of 9/1 to 15/5 by the end of the 13th over. Virat Kohli’s wicket and Mohammed Shami’s injury gave the hosts an easy win.
With the loss, Indian Captain will have to end this year without a century. As Kohli will be returning back to India after the 1st Test Match of the series, Ajinkya Rahane will lead the the team in the remaining matches.
Opener Mayank Agarwal(9 Off 40) is India’s top scorer in the second innings whereas, Josh Hazlewood took 5 wickets and Pat Cummins took 4 wickets for Australia.
