Kolkata: BCCI President and former Indian Cricket Team Captian Sourav Ganguly has been discharged from the Woodlands Hospital on Thursday after he suffered a cardiac arrest a few days back while working out.
The BCCI informed that Ganguly has been discharged from the hospital but requires complete rest for a few days.
“We’ve got some good news. The BCCI President Mr @SGanguly99 has been discharged from the hospital in Kolkata. “I thank the doctors at the hospital for the treatment. I am absolutely fine. Hopefully, I will be ready to fly soon,” he said”, informed BCCI in a tweet.
The former Captain was hospitalised earlier this week following a mild Cardiac arrest while he was working out in the gym. Ganguly was soon rushed to the Woodlands Hospital in Kolkata. He underwent an angioplasty and is fine now, informed the hospital authorities.
