India skipper Virat Kohli is down to fifth spot in the ICC Test Rankings. Kohli, who had had scores of 11 and 72 in the opening Test against England, has 852 points and down one spot in the latest chart issued
Meanwhile, England team captain Joe Root is in the third spot in the latest ICC Test rankings for batsmen.
Joe Root scored 684 runs in three Tests, two of which were with Sri Lanka and is in his highest position since September 2017. He is now 36 points behind top-ranked Kane Williamson and Steve Smith by only eight points.
