A report says that , the inaugural event of the 10th season of Jr. NBA will kick off at Girideepam Bethany Central School in Kottayam on July 24. This event is expected to witness a gathering of young talents from various schools and communities, eager to showcase their skills and passion for the game.
The basketball extravaganza will continue at the Regional Sports Centre in Kochi, where basketball development clinics and tournaments for youth, coaches, and teachers will be held on July 27. Additionally, the Assisi Vidyaniketan at Njaracal will be the venue for the 3-on-3 events on July 31 and August 1, offering more opportunities for youngsters to participate and compete.
What makes this season even more special is the incorporation of the U-12 and U-14 age groups in the 3-on-3 tournaments, providing a platform for even younger players to demonstrate their talent. The organisers are excited about this inclusion, as it will allow them to spot budding stars at an early age and support their growth in the sport.
In an effort to take the Jr. NBA programme to greater heights, the organisers have announced the first-ever national championship. This prestigious event will be held in Delhi in September, bringing together the most exceptional talents from the various regional tournaments held across the country.
