Mumbai [Maharashtra]: Captain Virat Kohli joined the main squad for the series against Australia this evening. Informing the news, Virat shared a snap of him working out with other team mates.
The Skipper was granted paternity leave by the BCCI for the birth of his first child. This will be his first match of the year and the first International match after the first Test against Australia. Having Kohli back in the team alongside Ishant Sharma, Rohit and Bumra will be a major advantage for the Indian team.
England’s tour against India is all set to begin on February 5. BCCI has given consent for limited in-person attendance during the matches. The tour consists of 4 Test matches, 5 T20 Internationals and 3 One-day Internationals.
