Thiruvananthapuram: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) have predicted possibility of heavy rain all over Kerala. Yellow alert has been announced in Pathanamthitta, Idukki, and Alappuzha districts. And the alert will continue for Pathanamthitta and Idukki on Sunday.
Rain is likely in hilly, coastal and inland areas. The Met office also warned that heavy rainfall is expected in few areas.
The wind direction towards the state is currently favourable ahead of the monsoon. According to available information, more rain clouds are reaching the skies of Kerala so that the rainfall will increase. Due to the possibility of bad weather conditions, fishermen have been warned not to venture into the sea in the Kerala-Lakshadweep coast till Sunday
