Bharatiya Kisan Union leader Rakesh Tikait dismissed Haryana Congress leader Vidya Rani’s comment about contributing liquor to support the farmers who are protesting at the borders.
Rakesh Tikait said that such people are not a part of farmers movement and they can distribute whatever they want in their (Congress) own movement.
“What is the use of liquor? I don’t know why she made such comments. It’s wrong and shouldn’t be done,” said Rakesh Tikait.
Rakesh Tikait comments comes a day after Haryana Congress leader Vidya Rani made controversial comments about contributing money, vegetables and liquor to strengthen the farmers’ agitation.
