Ahead of Assembly polls in Kerala, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured FAST development of fisheries and fertilisers, agriculture and Ayurveda, skill development and social justice, tourism and technology under the Bharatiya Janata Party Government.
While addressing a public meeting in Palakkad, PM Modi said, “The time has come for FAST development in Kerala, F for fisheries and fertilisers, A for agriculture and Ayurveda, S for social justice and skill development and T for tourism and technology.”
“High number of road barriers created by United Democratic Front (UDF) and Left Democratic Front (LDF) has made the speed of development slower. UDF and LDF have sadly not done much to improve tourism infrastructure in Kerala. Our Government is also undertaking many steps for the growth of agriculture and welfare of farmers,” said the Prime Minister.
PM Modi also lauded Metro Man E Sreedharan and said, “He has done excellent work to make India modern and improve connectivity, he is admired by all sections of the society and has devoted himself to Kerala’s progress. He thought beyond power and stood firm on his commitment to Kerala.”
The election for 140-member Kerala Assembly will be held on April 6 and the counting of votes will take place on May 2.
