Palakkad: Two youngsters were caught by the police at the Palakkad railway station with 44 grams of MDMA. Pattambi, Pallipuram native Shouwkath Ali, and Pulamanthaol, Kuruvambalam native Pranav were caught.
These youngsters were coming from Bangalore and got down at Palakkad station. They were noticed in a suspicious manner by the police while they were stepping out from the main entrance to go to Pattambi. According to the primary investigation of the police, they were wholesalers among drug dealers in the Pattambi-Kodungallur area. The accused were nabbed by RPF Crime Intelligence, Excise Circle Palakkad, and the Special Squad.
Meanwhile, 57 gram of MDMA concealed in the cloths was recovered from a bag in the general compartment of the Bangalore-Ernakulam Intercity Express in the absence of the owner. RPF Excise said that the raid will be continued for the smuggling of drugs through railways.
