Thiruvananthapuram: Rain will intensify again in Kerala. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a weather alert for the state of Kerala, forecasting the likelihood of heavy rain accompanied by thunder and lightning in the hilly regions during the afternoon today.
As the Northeast monsoon (Thulavarsham) commences, North Kerala is expected to experience thundershowers in the upcoming days.
At the same time, a rise in air temperatures is anticipated throughout the day. The IMD has projected that temperatures in many parts of the state will rise above 35 degrees Celsius.
