Palakkad: Power Minister K. Krishnankutty emphasized that ministers should not be regarded as the masters of the people. He stressed the importance of everyone having a strong conviction that being in power is fundamentally tied to serving the people. He also highlighted the need for acknowledging the potential loss of power at any time. The minister was speaking after inaugurating the meter testing laboratory of Palakkad KSEB.
“The thought of working for the people does not occur to many of us. If you become a minister, don’t think that you become a master. Not all the people here can reach the legislature. That is why they sent us here. We need the conviction in everyone’s mind that the real owners are the people”, Krishnankutty said.
