Wayanad: The Kerala Padayatra, led by BJP State President K Surendran, takes place in Wayanad today to bring awareness about various schemes of the central government to the people. The Padayatra commences at 3 pm, and at 4.30 pm, it will proceed from the Kalpetta new bus stand to Muttil.
The Padayatra has been receiving substantial support from various sections of society. Surendran plans to engage with prominent figures in the fields of religion, community, and culture. During his visit to Kavunkal Colony in Wayanad, he interacted with local residents, inquiring about their welfare.
The Padayatra received an enthusiastic reception in Kasaragod and Kannur. Tomorrow, it will be held in Vadakara, and from February 3rd to 7th, it will cover constituencies such as Attingal, Pathanamthitta, Kollam, and Mavelikkara. The Padayatra in Kottayam, Alappuzha, and Thiruvananthapuram constituencies is scheduled from February 9 to 12.
On February 14, it will be in Idukki, and on the 15th, in Chalakudy. From February 19 to 21, the Padayatra will cover Malappuram, Kozhikode, and Alathur constituencies. Ponnani will host the Padayatra on the 23rd, Ernakulam on the 24th, and Thrissur on the 26th. Palakkad will mark the conclusion of the Kerala Padayatra on the 27th.
