Bijapur: Six communist terrorists were neutralized in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district. The operation, which took place in the forest area near Chikurbatti-Pusbhaka jungle, resulted in the recovery of six bodies, including one female, as confirmed by police officials.
The encounter unfolded near the Talperu river, close to the Chikurbatti region under the jurisdiction of the Basaguda police station. A joint team of CoBRA-an elite unit of CRPF, CRPF’s 229th battalion and District Reserve Guard (DRG) were involved in the gunfight with insurgents of PLGA’s platoon-10 near Talperu river.
During the operation, security forces seized a cache of arms, ammunition, and other essential supplies used by the terrorists. The search operation is ongoing, and further details are awaited
