Corona curfew, which was to end on Monday morning, has been extended till May 24 in the Union Territory (UT) of Jammu and Kashmir, where 3677 new positive cases and 63 deaths have been reported during the past 24 hours, an official spokesman said Saturday evening.
He said corona curfew, which was imposed in all the 20 districts in the UT in view of the surge in the COVID positive cases and deaths, has been extended till 0700 hrs on May 24. The restrictions were to end on Monday at 0700 hrs, he said.
The curfew restrictions will be strict except for a few essential services, he said.
Meanwhile, 3677 new positive cases have been reported during the past 24 hours. Out of these 1728 are from Jammu Division and 1949 from Kashmir Division.
